Another year computex was
held in Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall. Look at all the
booth with their gadgets and people walking around. After your long walk in the
hall, don’t you feel your hunger?
There was a fast food chain
call Mr. Brown. After ordering and paying for my food, they gave me a rectangle
box but not my food. Where is the food? I had no idea what it was at first, but
I observed that everyone had one after making their payment and they just walk
away to their seats. Instead of asking the cashier, I did what others do. Just
take the rectangle box and walk away. Later I was told by my friends that this
red gadget is a beeper. About 5 minutes later, the beeper starts to vibrate. It went buzzing.. ZzZzZzzZz ZzzZzzZzZz. It
means my food is ready and I should go to the collection counter to collect my
order. Well, it was my first time having a beeper, deep in me I felt I had just
came out from a jungle.
World Trade Centre, how do
we get there? I took a train to Xinyi Station, walked through the Xinyi
Shopping District and reach the hall in about 20 minutes. They were shops
selling branded items at the Xinyi Shopping District and also some street
stalls. Walking pass a stall with some cartoon character figures, kitty, Garfield,
sponge bob, CJ7 and others. It was so adorable and I snap the photos of it and
did not notice the signboard of “no photography”. Oopps.. I apologise for it. I quickly took huge
steps and walk away. Snacking time, there were many stalls selling snacks such
as vermicelli. I bought some colorful sweet potatoes balls.
