Fu Long Beach. Sounds like along beach,
its about 3kilometers on coastline. It is quiet long for me to walk. Its
located in northeast coast at New Taipei City. Another name for it is the
Golden Sand beach. Look at the tiny waves, so many but not really big waves for
now so I did’t see any surfers around. Other beach activities could be surfboards,
canoes, kayaks and other water sport ready for rental. But the big thing here
is making sand castle along the beach. People make their sand in various
design, from Hello Kitty, Doremon, Choo choo Train, Buddha and everything else,
see it for yourself in the photos. How is sand castle made? Water and sand. Yes
but I did hear of that they add some form of chemical to make it stick. Maybe
some sort of water glue. If not I guess the sand castle will not stand too
long.
We cannot change yesterday, and we cannot predict tomorrow. So we live for today, hope tomorrow comes our way. At least I could say, Been There, Done That! Its awesome!

Dinner In Taipei
Somewhere in the city, in some
streets. This place ‘Zee’ has a live band performance. The bands here are not
those famous celebrity yet but they seem like students and young teenagers
singing at their best. Not too bad. Never know when a song record producer
would walk up to those talented singers and take them in to groom them. That
would be like striking a lotto lottery. Well you have nothing to lose; all you
need to do is sing with your heart. OoOoooOoO… hhhh…
How about the food? It was average for
me. They served salad just like in the photo posted. The dessert came with a
pudding and strawberry with biscuits. It was not sweet, neither sour. For the
main dish, you could choose the seafood which comes with fish fillet with
prawns, clams and mussel. Another main dish could be steak. They have others,
you can have your pick on the menu. Bon Appetite! The appearance was not to bad
but the taste was rather blend. So average it is…
While enjoying your meal, you could
listen to the “future to be singers”. Lalala…. Ooh…

Taipei ZhongXiao FuXing Sogo
Sogo is a shopping centre. There is a
train (tube) direct to this building, so it makes shopping much easier. Once
you reach the stop you will see the signboards directing you to the shopping
centre. Here are some pictures on the building. Not just shopping but they do
have a food court somewhere at the ground floor.
Oh.. Food, here I come. As I reach the
mouth of the shopping centre at the ground floor, there were a couple of stalls
selling this pineapple cakes. I bought some pineapple with egg yolk cakes.
Walking along, I bought another pack of nougat. What else? I grab a packet of
snack, the Chocolate Popcorn by Oishi. At that time, chocolate popcorn was not
a norm and has yet to be sold in my country.
Let’s continue our food quest. I
bought a maple pudding, this was nice, worth having one. Going on next was a
cake stall called Berry Milk, need I say more? I bought a cake for myself
topped with a strawberry. Oh my, I am shy now as I feel I am a glutton because
everything I write here is about food. But it fits my name of mini food travel
blog.
I saw a Chinese restaurant whereby
they made a transparent glass to show their chefs making the Chinese Dumplings.
Very hygienic as all of them are wearing masks. Thumbs up! I have been to many
food outlets, but I was really sad to see that those staffs preparing food had
no mask or wearing their mask on their chins instead of covering their mouth. One
of the outlet was Sushi- Tei, yet worse, they were chatting along the way while
preparing food. It was so unprofessional!
