Yilan - Jinche - Taiwan

Another place in Taiwan, the Yilan County at the northeast of Taiwan. It was a cooling place, you could feel the air is much cleaner. It was not easy to go there unless I had a car or someone to bring me there. I had no idea how to get there myself. I do remember we have to go through a tunnel, They told me it’s the longest tunnel in Taiwan almost 13km (12.9) and took about 15 years to construct it. Wow! The Hsuehshan Tunnel recently open about 8 years back in 2006. The good news of having this tunnel available, easier to get there? So more tourist to Yilan.  

My first stop was the Jinche Orchid Garden. So it’s only orchid but numerous types, white, pink, full color to dotted, you name it, they have it. 

Taipei 101- Carpet of Diamonds & Darth Wader

When I entered the Taipei International Convention Centre, there is was, properly displayed on its own. The blue color shades with silver Chopper! An American Chopper with the Intel technology, how about that? Its not just for a personal computer or your notebook or lappy. Check out the night scene. In fact I was there on an event, I was invited for a VIP cocktail reception on the 86Floor. Here you will be able to view the night view from the 86F. The scene was beautiful, just like gold necklaces, full of diamonds and gems spread all over. The Carpet of Diamonds which I was talking about.

Darth Wader

And hey looks who’s here? The scary Darth Wader. When I was a child, I was afraid of this character because it has this black mask and makes the breathing sound so loud. Well since I am not longer the 10 year old child, I guess its alright to snap a photo with him. May the Force Be with You.
